NUMMUS FUND (NUMMUS = Latin for Coin or Money) - Private Equity non-listed Fund
The Nummus Private Equity Investment Fund is one of the six primary sub-funds operating beneath the Regalis Global Investment Umbrella Fund, IWG's flagship multi-strategy structure domiciled in Liechtenstein.
As an unlisted private equity vehicle, Nummus is designed to deploy institutional capital into a deliberately broad asset class, one that spans venture capital alongside commodities, bonds, shares, derivatives and money markets, import and export financing, and intangible assets, including intellectual property, arts and culture, and their related credible projects.
This breadth allows the fund to follow genuine commercial opportunity wherever it presents itself, rather than being confined to a single sector or asset type.
Nummus will be registered for ISIN purposes as a private investment fund on the Cyprus Stock Exchange, giving it a recognised institutional reference point within the EU/EEA regulatory framework while remaining, by design, an unlisted vehicle for subscription purposes.
The fund is structured for longevity and flexibility. It is non-terminal, carrying no fixed expiry and no forced wind-down date, and it is open-ended, with no ceiling placed on the volume of investment it may ultimately attract. Within its defined asset class,
Nummus may commit up to €225 million to any single credible project that satisfies our due diligence requirements, giving it meaningful capacity to support substantial transactions as well as smaller, earlier-stage opportunities. The fund's first disbursement target has been set at €15 million, marking the initial deployment phase as Nummus builds its portfolio.
As with all funds within the Regalis structure, every prospective allocation under Nummus is subject to rigorous due diligence. A credible project is one that, under close financial and commercial scrutiny, withstands robust stress testing of its business model while demonstrating a clear ability to deliver predetermined minimum returns on investment or debt finance.
All other funds besides these are funds which we design and establish for our clients who have multiple credible projects. We remain in control of the investment fund disbursement, subscriptions and redemptions alike, without any cash flowing through us, and that the monitoring and reporting to the fund remains at a level of excellence at all times.
The funds are purpose specific and for the same purpose in such that the client has multiple similar industry sector credible projects. A credible project is a commercial development opportunity which under deep due diligence scrutiny, passes financial and business model stress tests, yet remains robust in its ability to perform positively and yield predetermined minimum returns on investments and/or debt finance.
